It is mounted on a UTG hi-profile compact riser in order to provide a lower 1/3 co-witness with my "iron" sights. I have actually replaced the Ruger flip-up rear sight with a Magpul MBUS-2 dual aperature flip-up sight, but I believe the aperture height is the same.
