WebThe aim of this policy is to provide clear guidance to governors on the types and values of allowances that can be claimed whilst undertaking governor duties, attending meetings or training courses. Very few governors claim expenses, however, this policy has been created to enable people with limited incomes to become governors. WebThis policy statement has been developed in accordance with The School Governance (Roles, Procedures and Allowances) (England) Regulations 2013. These regulations give Governing Bodies the discretion to pay allowances from the school’s annual budget allocation to governors for certain allowances which they incur in carrying out their duties.
