WebI may have found a temporary solution. Pressing alt+enter at the main menu, and turning the resolution back to 1920x1080 while the game is up. The menu is still zoomed in, but the game itself shows, and my mouse doesn't veer to the left on it's own. Doing this prevents me from using screenshots or the steam overlay, though.
