For me, it seems like stretching/massaging my SCM, digastric, and temporalis muscle really helped that ear flutter symptom.(which I guess makes sense since they all attach near the ear) Even just doing simple neck stretches regularly few times a day is also helpful for me.

I have never had a problem with the feeling that I want to burp – not much but a little burp and that is when I get a small thump in my ear.
