WebBisphenol F concentrations were one or two orders of magnitude higher than the BPA concentrations in river and sea waters collected in Japan, Korea and China, which suggests that bisphenol F is a major surface water pollutant in several countries in Southeast Asia. BPF concentrations of 2850 ng/L were detected in the Tamagawa River in Japan.
